Free Weekend Fitness Classes Returning to West Shore Park at the Inner Harbor

Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore Release: 

The Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore and Medifast are teaming up once again for the annual Waterfront Wellness series. Returning May 26, 2018, the series will offer free fitness classes on weekends along the waterfront throughout the spring and summer seasons.

Waterfront Wellness is a series designed to make health and wellness easy for the local Baltimore community. Medifast and its community of OPTAVIA® Coaches, have a shared vision to offer the world lifelong transformation, one healthy habit at a time™. This vision will be brought to life through this summer series, and supports a healthier future in our neighborhoods and the harbor.

“The Waterfront Wellness series is one of our fastest growing programs,” said Laurie Schwartz, president of Waterfront Partnership. “Waterfront Wellness brings a fresh, fun, and free take on health and wellness. Attendees tell us how much they love exercising, overlooking the beautiful Baltimore waterfront.”

Waterfront Wellness classes will take place every Saturday and Sunday at West Shore Park through September 16. There will also be an incentive program featuring one month passes to participating gyms. The schedule is as follows:

  • Saturdays:
  • 7 a.m.: Yoga with Brick Bodies
  • 8 a.m.: Bootcamp with XPF
  • 9 a.m.: Dance 2 Fitness with XPF
  • Sundays:
  • 7 a.m.: Vinyasa All Levels Yoga with Yogaworks
  • 8 a.m.: Family Yoga with Yogaworks
  • 9 a.m.: Beginner Running with Charm City Run
