England Premier League’s Southampton FC Trains at Under Armour in South Baltimore

It’s been a star-studded couple weeks at South Baltimore’s Under Armour Headquarters. This week Under Armour is hosting Cam Newton and teammates from the Carolina Panthers for a passing camp. This follows Under Armour last week hosting Southampton FC of the English Premier League, one of the best soccer (or football in England) leagues in the world.

Statement from Under Armour:

Southampton FC, Under Armour’s new global football partner, traveled to Baltimore for a week-long trip last week featuring workouts at Under Armour’s on-campus performance center as part of their pre-season training camp. In addition to learning first-hand about the innovations driving the Under Armour brand and global football category via meetings and tours across campus and the new Lighthouse innovation center, the Club also trained at Ludwig Field at the University of Maryland throughout the week and played at RFK Stadium on Friday.

In addition, the Club and its chairman Ralph Krueger and new manager Claude Puel visited Sagamore Farm for a special evening hosted by Kevin Plank on Saturday.
