44-Story Tower at 414 Light Street Announces Opening Date, Begins Leasing
414 Light Street, a 44-story luxury apartment building by Quester Properties adjacent to the Inner Harbor and Otterbein, has opened its pre-leasing center and has set an opening date. The leasing center opened today at 575 S. Charles St., Suite 150 on the first floor of the Harbor Court tower. The first units are expected to be ready in March 2018.
The currently under-construction 414 Light Street development will include 394 apartments, 40,000 sq. ft. of outdoor and indoor amenity space, 12,300 sq. ft. of ground floor retail space, and a 550-car parking garage. The site was formerly a McCormick & Company spice factory, and each of the building’s 41 floor plans will be named after a spice.
414 Light Street will offer studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. They will feature Poggenpohl cabinetry, Caesarstone Quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances, including Bosch gas ovens. More than half of the units will have private balconies.
“After much anticipation, we are thrilled to unveil the Pre-Leasing Center, providing prospective residents a glimpse of 414 Light Street’s offerings, as well as an opportunity to explore the wonderful Inner Harbor ambiance,” said Stephen Gorn, chairman and CEO of Questar Properties, in a press release. “As downtown Baltimore continues its urban renaissance, this high-rise community promises to set a new regional standard for full-service, luxury apartment living.”
