Come Celebrate SouthBMore’s Best 2017

Come celebrate all that South Baltimore has to offer at SouthBMore’s Best Bash on Thursday, September 14th from 7pm to 10pm at Little Havana!

SouthBMore’s Best 2017 is SouthBMore.com’s 3rd annual competition and celebration of the best of South Baltimore (…check out past winners!) Readers will cast their votes in various categories to select the best restaurants, businesses, foods, drinks, attractions, and professionals in South Baltimore.

Here are the rules: The nomination period took place from August 14 to August 28th. The three selections (more when there were ties) with the most nominations in each category moved on to the finals multiple choice round which runs from August 29th to September 12th (voting has closed). The selections receiving the most votes during the multiple choice round will be crowned SouthBMore’s Best. All winners will be announced at SouthBMore’s Best Bash  on Thursday, September 14th from 7pm to 10pm at Little Havana. 

Online tickets sales have closed. Tickets will be $30 at the door (cash or credit card). 

*NEW* highlights to this year’s event:

• ANNOUNCING THE WINNERS AT THE BASH:  New this year, the winners will NOT be revealed prior to the event – instead, we’ll be announcing the winners AT SouthBMore’s Best Bash (drum roll, please!)
• SIGNATURE SOBO COCKTAIL: With the help of our friends at Little Havana, we will be revealing signature cocktails for our SouthBMore’s Best Bash featuring Sagamore Spirit and Deep Eddy Vodka. 
• MORE SURPRISES: We’re keeping a few surprises up our sleeve to reveal at the actual bash!

Repeat attendees can expect the same awesomeness from past events including:

• The opportunity to learn more about local businesses around the neighborhood and collect swag from all of them!
• Enjoy delicious tastings from some local restaurants around South Baltimore including Culinary Architecture, Das Bier Haus, HomeSlyce, Share Kitchen, SoBo Market and SoBo Cafe, and The Outpost American Tavern.
• Local brewers will be pouring FREE beer samples throughout the night including. Brewers include Charm City Meadworks, Checkerspot Brewing Co., Diamondback Brewing Co., Heavy Seas Beer, Key Brewing Co., and Pub Dog.
• Raffle tickets will be sold to benefit The Baltimore Station, and attendees will have the chance to win amazing prizes donated by local businesses around the city.
