Touring Gordon Ramsay’s New Restaurant at Horseshoe Casino Baltimore

British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was in town yesterday to open his new restaurant, called Gordon Ramsay Steak, at Horseshoe Casino Baltimore. Gordon Ramsay Steak replaces Jack Binion’s Steak on the first level of the casino.

The space has been renovated and includes a large bar and dining room with a large British flag design on the ceiling.

Gordon Ramsay Steak showcases prime beef dry-aged for a minimum of 28 days and cuts such as the 32-ounce Royal Long-bone Chop for two and American Kobe. With a nod to his British roots, Ramsay’s menu also offers Ramsay’s Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding dishes, which have been popular items at Gordon Ramsay Steak in Las Vegas. The menu also offers a crab cake that Ramsay guaranteed would be made with local crab.

The bar menu features hundreds of bottles of wine as well as craft beers and signature cocktails.

“I couldn’t be more pleased to introduce Gordon Ramsay Steak in Charm City,” Ramsay said in a press release. “Baltimore is home to wonderful restaurants, and I’m thrilled to add to the culinary landscape with a concept that will offer guests the best dry-aged beef, finest seafood and freshest locally-sourced ingredients in a uniquely warm and comfortable setting.”

“It’s a privilege to officially lift the curtain on Gordon Ramsay Steak, a world-class dining concept developed by a world-class chef,” said Caesars Entertainment Regional President and Horseshoe Baltimore General Manager Erin Chamberlin in a press release. “The opening of Gordon Ramsay Steak raises the bar for fine dining in a city already known for its great restaurants, and we’re excited to introduce this incredible concept to the millions of guests who visit us each year.”

The Gordon Ramsay Group operates a total of 32 restaurants globally with a total of seven Michelin stars. Ramsay stars in Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen,” “The F Word with Gordon Ramsay,” and “MasterChef.”

Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis also announced in October that she is opening a new casual Italian restaurant at Horseshoe Casino Baltimore that will replace Johnny Sanchez. This will be De Laurentiis’ second restaurant as she also owns Giada at The Cromwell in Las Vegas. The Crowmell and Horseshoe are both owned by Caesars Entertainment.

De Laurentiis and Ramsay join fellow television chef Guy Fieri at Horseshoe. Fieri owns Guy Fieri’s Baltimore Kitchen + Bar and Guy’s Bar-B-Que Joint.
