The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts Release:

The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts announces the return of the Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar for its 41st season on Sunday, April 8, 2018. The market runs Sundays from 7am until noon through December 23, 2018. To celebrate opening day, the band Ebb & Nova performs their acoustic stylings live at the market starting at 10am. For the 2018 season, the Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar features new and returning farmers, concessionaires and bazaar vendors, and continues its “First Sunday” program (full schedule below), in which there is a special theme on the first Sunday of every month. “First Sundays” was started in 2017 to honor the 40th anniversary of the Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar, Maryland’s largest producers-only market.

In addition, on the first Sunday of every month, from May through October from 9-10:30am, the Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar brings back cooking classes with Chef Egg. Classes feature a tour of the market followed by a hands-on cooking class supported by Mission Thrive Summer graduates and students. Classes are $10 per person and participants can register at
