Maryland Fleet Week and Air Show Baltimore is returning to Baltimore on October 3-9, 2018. The event takes place in Baltimore every two years and celebrates “the rich maritime traditions of the Chesapeake Bay and the contributions of Marylanders to the defense of the nation.” The first Maryland Fleet Week and Air Show was in 2016. This followed the Star-Spangled Banner Spectacular in 2014 and the Star-Spangled Sailabration in 2012.

New this year will be a demonstration by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds during the the Baltimore Air Show. It will also include demonstrations from additional military planes. The show will take place on Saturday, October 6th and Sunday, October 7th from 1pm to 4pm.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels performed in Baltimore in 2012, 2014, and 2016.

Maryland Fleet Week will also feature more than a dozen vessels at the Inner Harbor, including Locust Point, from the United States Military. There will also be Canadian and British vessels.

The Fleet Week Festival will take place Friday through Sunday (October 5th to 7th) with food, drinks, and live music. An open house will also take place at the Martin State Airport on Saturday, October 6th and Sunday, October 7th.
