Six New Townhomes Planned for Cuba Street in Locust Point
Six new townhomes are planned for two grass lots on the 1600 block of Cuba St. in Locust Point. Four homes are planned for the lot at 1625-1635 Cuba St. and two homes are planned for the lot at 1643-1647 Cuba St. The two lots are separated by three rowhomes built in 1900.
According to the Board of Municipal Zoning and Appeals (BMZA), the homes will have rear decks and lower-level rear garages. The lots are adjacent to an existing alley. The development team of Charm City Builders told SouthBMore.com they will offer more details about the project in the future.
Locust Point Civic Association (LPCA) President Matt Farcosky told SouthBMore.com that they approve of the project after working with the development team.
The project is surrounded by other recent townhome developments. It is adjacent to Alta47, a Bozzuto and War Horse Cities project that is currently completing construction on 47 new townhomes, and Key’s Overlook, a Beazer and 28 Walker project consisting of 53 new-construction townhomes.
