Argentine Navy Tall Ship ‘ARA Libertad’ Arrives in Baltimore

Argentine tall ship ARA Libertad arrived to Baltimore this weekend and is currently at the Inner Harbor West Wall.

About the vessel from Sail Baltimore:

Frigate ARA “Libertad” set sail from Buenos Aires’ Inner Harbor on Saturday, March 17 at 8:00 am beginning her 47th training trip with an itinerary that includes her participation in the “Velas Latinoamérica 2018” (2018 Latin American Sails) event. The vessel, under the command of Captain Carlos Gabriel Funes, leads the Midshipmen Class No 147 of Naval Command Line Officers, Class No 82 of Marine Corp Officers and Class No 103 of Professional Corp Officers.

ARA Libertad is open for tours Monday to Wednesday from 12pm to 8pm. It will depart the Inner Harbor on Friday at 8am.
