Nick’s Rotisserie Moves to a Larger Space in Pigtown

Longtime Pigtown restaurant Nick’s Rotisserie recently relocated to a larger space close by. Nick’s moved three storefronts down from 813 Washington Blvd. to 807 Washington Blvd. in August.

Nick’s new space was the former home of Charm City Wings & Waffles which closed in 2017 and relocated its business to the Washington, D.C. area. The new space will allow Nick’s to offer dine-in service as well as carryout and catering.

Nick’s specializes in rotisserie chicken, in addition to sides such as mac-and-cheese, cabbage, sweet potatoes, collared greens, and cornbread.

“According to residents, Nick’s has been an institution in Pigtown for over 30 years starting as a sub shop and selling snowballs,” said Pigtown Main Street Executive Director Kim Lane. “Pigtowners embraced the change to Nick’s Rotisserie and claim Mr. “Nick” Romano’s  chicken, corn bread, and mac-and-cheese is the best in Baltimore.”

Lane added, “Nick’s expansion has beautiful seating and a cozy atmosphere for families and neighbors to sit down to a delicious meal or to carry out. During lunch and dinner you will still find Ms. Debbie laughing and chatting with customers, all of whom she knows well. We are working with Mr. “Nick” Romano to create his social media platforms to advertise his new location and expanding menu. It’s exciting a neighborhood institution is now bigger and better and of course remains loved by the Pigtown community and visitors. ”
