Fatal Accident on Friday Involving an MTA Bus

Fatal Crash Investigation
On February 22, 2019, at 4:30pm, officers were called to the 800 block of W. Patapsco Avenue for a report of a crash. When officers arrived, they found an MTA bus and a Hyundai sedan that had collided.
All four occupants of the car were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Two of the occupants, a man and woman, died from their injuries at the hospital.
Eight passengers on the bus were also transported to area hospitals. All of their injuries are non-life threatening.
Investigators believe the Hyundai sedan was traveling southbound on Patapsco Avenue when it collided with the bus.
Detectives from the Baltimore Police CRASH Team are investigating this incident. The MTA Police Department is assisting with the investigation.
