A 30,000 sq. ft., two-story industrial building at 1303 Carroll St. in Pigtown is now on the market. It is listed for $750,000 by Gold and Company.

The building is the home of The Burch Company, a storm window manufacturer that has occupied the building for more than 40 years and has been in Baltimore since 1924. The Burch Company will relocate to a smaller space within the area.

Jim Chivers of Gold and Company said in an email: “The property is ideal for woodworkers, artisans, metal shops, non-profits, and light industrial-type companies that are looking to be in the Pigtown area.” He added, “the property offers excellent access to I-95 and surrounding counties. The property may also be attractive to residential developers who may look to convert the property into a residential use.”

Chivers said the building has heavy power, as well as a line of windows on the second floor that give 360-degree views of Baltimore.
