Sunday Concerts at Union Square Park Begin This Weekend

The “Sunday Sounds in the Park” concert series is taking place again this year at Union Square Park. The concerts take place from 4pm to 7pm on the last Sunday of the month from April through October. The concert series is a joint program of the Union Square Association and the SoWeBo Music Series.

Sunday Sounds in the Park kicks off this Sunday. AxixA and The Quinton Randall Band will take the stage from 5 to 7pm. Attendees are invited to bring chairs, blankets, and picnic supplies.

A passionate blues player from Baltimore MD. An electric cellist, singer, and producer hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. AxixA’s homegrown mix of sultry and rock vocals wrap around lyrics of mental illness, love, and identity encased in a sound that is not quite Rock, but not quite anything else either.
