M&T Bank has opened its M&T Spotlight Shop at 300 E. Pratt St. at the Inner Harbor. The outdoor pop-up shop, which is situated on a green space in front of a parking lot and closes up like a shipping container, is open Thursday to Sunday from 11am to 2pm.

“We’re proud to work with some of the greatest small businesses in our community,” said M&T Bank on its M&T Spotlight Shop website. “This summer, we’re putting them in the spotlight.”

M&T Bank is partnering with Baltimore small businesses to fill the shop. Doll House Boutique was open June 6th to June 9th and will reopen June 13th to June 16th. Mouth Party Caramels will fill the shop June 20th to 23rd and June 27th to June 30th; Zeke’s Coffee will open July 4th to 7th and July 11th to 14th; Cake by Jason Hisley will open July 19th to 21st and July 25th to 28th; Becket Hitch will open August 1st to 4th and August 8th to 11th; and The Charmery will open from August 15th to 18th and August 22nd to 25th.

300 E. Pratt St. is the only surface parking lot on Pratt St. Downtown. It was formerly the home of News American before it was razed in 1990. The property is owned by Chicago’s InterPark Holdings, which proposed a 48-story apartment building and hotel that was supposed to break ground in 2016. The site has seen several high-rise proposals over the years, but no project has started construction.
