Fatal Crash in Carroll-Camden Industrial Area on Tuesday Night

Fatal Crash Investigation

Detectives are investigating a fatal crash in South Baltimore.

On June 18, 2019, at approximately 6:20pm, a motorcycle was traveling northbound in the 1300 block of S. Monroe Street when it collided with an MTA bus.

The operator of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The bus driver was not injured. There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.

Detectives from the Baltimore Police CRASH Team are investigating this incident. Members of the MTA Police Department also responded to the scene and are assisting investigators.

The 1300 block of S. Monroe Street was temporarily closed during the investigation.
