The 18th Annual Pigtown Festival returns to Washington Boulevard on Saturday, September 21, from 12–7PM. Enjoy live music, food trucks, craft beer, arts & crafts, Kids Zone and the highlight of the day-live pig races, and much more!

The free street festival is held in Historic Pigtown in Southwest Baltimore on the 700-900 blocks of Washington Boulevard off Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and attracts nearly 5,000 people every year.

The KidsZone at the Pigtown Festival has always been a huge hit with  kids and adults. You’ll find even more to do and experience at our expanded KidsZone this year. In addition to 

Pigtown oriented creative activities, music and more, families can enjoy the following special events:

One Man Band 

Kids of all ages can join in on the fun as the Ian Carrol, the one-man band magically plays fun loving music to dance and sing along. 

See how good you are handling a lacrosse stick and try the STX Lacrosse Shootout.

Ferret & Friends

Calling all animal lovers: Ferrets and Friends will educate and entertain you with a live animal show with snakes, parrots, ferrets and more.

The Tattered Hatters 

Calling All Parents and Kid: Get ready for your creative juices to overflow! The Tattered Hatters invite you to use your wildest imagination to create a stunning one of a kind hat masterpieces.

Get ready to adorn your new fine hat and strut your hat at the Pigtown Festival.

 Baltimore Hoop Love

Hula Hooping and juggling movement returns to Pigtown with Baltimore Hoop Love’s Raschella and Andreas “Spilly” Spiliadis. They are a colorful group of performers, with hula hoops made from PVC, juggling performances on stilts and balloon sculpture fun.

2:00- 4:00

The Baltimore Raven’s Book Mobile

Free Books! We’re teaming up with the Raven’s  to offer free books for children. 

5:00 – 6:00pm

Visit from the Oriole Bird

Meet our beloved O’s mascot at the KidsZone! 

Our KidsZone is larger than ever! You’ll find the KidsZone at Scott Street and Washington Blvd. in between the music stage and the famous Pig Races. We promise the activities are fun for all. All children must be accompanied by adult in the KidsZone.
