McCormick Paints Opening in Federal Hill

McCormick Paints is relocating its Baltimore location from 418 W. Franklin St. in Seton Hill to 800 S. Hanover St. in Federal Hill/Otterbein. McCormick’s new one-story, 4,240 sq. ft. building was the former home of Baltimore Gracie Jiu-Jitsu that relocated to a larger space in Violetville earlier this year.

McCormick Paints is a full line retailer of paints and associated products that is celebrating its 60th year as a Maryland-based company.

The company has completely renovated and merchandised the interior of the building, painted the exterior, and improved customer access to the property.

The store will open in the first couple weeks of October. It will have four employees, who will provide color advice to customers, as well as outside sales and management representation.

McCormick will offer preferred pricing for neighbors and its free, same-day delivery service, Paint Dash.

McCormick will be open Monday to Friday from 7am to 430pm and Saturdays from 7am to 12pm. It will be closed on Sundays.

When asked why the company is relocating its Baltimore location to Federal Hill, McCormick Paints CEO Casey McCormick said in an email, “Federal Hill is a historic and classic Baltimore neighborhood that gives us an opportunity to service a wide range of consumers and businesses as well as gives us easy access to major corridors in the City.”
