Brazilian Navy Ship ‘NE Brasil’ Arrives at the Inner Harbor Tomorrow

NE Brasil, a 431-foot Brazilian Navy ship, will arrive in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor tomorrow and dock at Broadway Pier in Fells Point. It will stay for six days and depart on Thursday, November 14th.

The NE Brasil is offering free tours Monday to Wednesday from 1pm to 430pm.

NE Brasil made another appearance in Baltimore in November of last year.

The Brazilian training ship Brasil is a training ship of the Brazilian Navy ordered in June 1981 at Rio de Janeiro Marine Arsenal Yard, with a budget of $124.2m, as a modified version of the Niteroi class of frigates, with weapons and sensors, for carrying 442 midshipmen – officers in training from the Brazilian Naval and Merchant Marine Academies.

Light City is also taking place the Inner Harbor this weekend.
