15,000 Sq. Ft. Industrial Building Leased in Westport

The recently-renovated building at 2701 Manokin St. in Westport now has a new tenant. Big Dog Core Supply Inc. signed a lease and will be moving to the 15,000 sq. ft. building. The business is relocating from a 4,000 sq. ft. space in the Carroll-Camden Industrial Area.

Jim Chivers of Gold and Company assisted the landlord and tenant in the transaction. He said the new building gives Big Dog Core Supply “additional room, heavy power, oversized roll-up doors, and access to I-295 and the main interstates.”

Big Dog Core Supply works in the processing and recovery of non-ferrous metals.

Big Dog Core Supply will immediately begin to relocate to 2701 Manokin St.

2701 Manokin St. was purchased in 2018 for $410,000 and Chivers said the new owner added a new roof, improved the exterior, and removed old equipment out of the space. He said the owners see the value in Westport with the redevelopment of Port Covington and the potential redevelopment of the Westport Waterfront.
