Horseshoe Casino to Reopen on Sunday

Horseshoe Casino Baltimore announced today that it will reopen to the general public at 8am on Sunday. However, Caesars Rewards Seven Stars and Diamond card holders will be able to start gaming at the casino starting this Friday at 8am.

Horseshoe will operate at 50 percent occupancy capacity in accordance with guidelines issued by the State of Maryland and Baltimore City. Baltimore City allowed casinos, restaurants, and other businesses to reopen last Friday at 50 percent capacity. This is Stage Two of Maryland’s “Roadmap to Recovery” from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Slot machines at Horseshoe will be arranged to allow for social distancing and table games will be offered at reduced capacity. The Baltimore Marketplace food court, which recently added Ben’s Chili Bowl, will be open daily. Restaurants Gordon Ramsay Steak and Fú Noodle Bar will operate on a limited basis and Guy Fieri’s Kitchen + Bar and GDL Italian by Giada will reopen “as customer volumes increase and demand warrants.”

The Terrace, a 10,000 sq. ft. outdoor gaming space that first opened in December, will also reopen.

Horseshoe will implement Caesars Entertainment Corporation’s new health and safety protocols and all employees will wear masks. Guests will also be required to wear face coverings. Guest and employee temperature scanning will also occur upon entry with those reading at 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit and above not permitted to enter.

“We look forward to greeting our guests and team members as they return to the Horseshoe,” said Horseshoe Baltimore Senior Vice President and General Manager Randy Conroy in a press release. “We have been preparing for this occasion for months and are excited to provide a welcoming and comfortable gaming experience for our guests.”
