The B&O Railroad Museum Farmers Market Starts This Thursday
B&O Railroad Museum press release:
The B&O Railroad Museum is thrilled to announce that the B&O Farmers Market, in partnership with the Fell’s Point Farmers Market, is back by popular demand!
Beginning May 6 and continuing until Sept. 30, the B&O Farmers Market returns to the parking lot of the B&O Railroad Museum every Thursday from 4 to 7 PM! This free weekly event brings together city dwellers and Baltimore visitors alike to shop fresh foods & produce, delicious drinks, handmade goods, and more from an assortment of celebrated local vendors. Taking place in the spacious parking lot of the B&O Railroad Museum, the B&O Farmers Market is conducive to safe social distancing, free to enter, and offers free, secure on-site parking for visitors. Whether traveling on foot or by scooter, bike, skateboard, or car, the Museum’s central location on Pratt St. makes this Farmers Market conveniently accessible to all. As the Museum’s Executive Director Kris Hoellen puts it, “If we can use our space and provide a community service that addresses a need while being fun – that’s a win!”
With many of the beloved vendors from the Fell’s Point Farmers Market plus plenty of new additions, the B&O Farmers Market is sure to have everything shoppers need and more, all in a safe, historic, and accessible location. For updates on vendors and more, follow @BOFarmersMarket on Instagram.
