Baltimore City to Lift COVID-19 Mask Mandate on July 1st

Today, Baltimore City Mayor Brandon Scott announced the City will remove the State of Emergency and all COVID-19 mandates on July 1st. This includes the indoor mask mandate.

“Workplaces and businesses do retain the right to set their own policies,” said Mayor Scott at a press conference.

Baltimore has approximately 15 new cases a day, according to Baltimore City Health Commissioner Dr. Letitia Dzirasa. 1,079 Baltimore City residents have died from COVID-19 and there is still approximately two deaths per day, according to Commissioner Dzirasa.
