Fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant Pitamore, which as been closed at 30 Light St. in Downtown since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has reopened. It is now open Monday to Friday from 11am to 3pm. The Light St. location first opened in 2017.

Pitamore opened a second location in Ridgely’s Delight at 519 W. Pratt St. in March. That location is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm.

Pitamore was started by Israel immigrants Eli Hershko, Sam Hilel, and Ron Bar.

At Pitamore, customers start their order by picking a pita, lafa, or plate; then choose a protein, either chicken shawarma or lamb shawarma sliced off the rotating tower, or falafel; and then they can add unlimited toppings including hummus, baba ganoush, fried eggplant, tabbouleh salad, and different Mediterranean sauces and vegetables.

Customers can also get a salad and add meat or falafel.
