24,000 Sq. Ft. Building Across from M&T Bank Stadium Available for Lease
A 24,000 sq. ft. building across the street from M&T Bank Stadium at 1300 Russell St. is now available for lease. The building was once proposed to be part of Hammerjacks, but Hammerjacks will continue to only use the outdoor space behind the building for the foreseeable future.
Andy Hotchkiss, who is the owner of Hammerjacks and a partner in the building, said they are looking to get a user into the two-story, former warehouse building who will complement Hammerjacks and the growing entertainment area around M&T Bank Stadium and Horseshoe Casino Baltimore.
Granite Canyon Partners is the current owner of the property and it has been listed for lease with Trout Daniel & Associates. Hammerjacks has a long-term lease on the back lot which replaced the former Paradox nightclub.
Hammerjacks opened this Ravens season for tailgate parties at its outdoor space. An entertainment space was created using recycled shipping containers.
Hotchkiss said Hammerjacks is working on bringing national touring bands in for concerts this year. Hammerjacks will also host movie nights, corn hole tournaments, and private events. The space holds up to 2,000 people.
Hotchkiss said it’s still a dream to run the front building as part of Hammerjacks, but said now is the time to bring something else in to support the land.
Topgolf is currently under construction a block away from the property, The Paramount Baltimore music venue is proposed next door, and additional investments by Horseshoe Casino ownership group CBAC are slated to include a hotel and additional entertainment venues.
In regards to these developments, Hotchkiss said he is “extremely psyched.”
“All that stuff makes the area and all of South Baltimore better,” he added.
