Fatal Fire This Morning at Fuel Facility in Curtis Bay

One person died this morning in a three-alarm fire at a fuel facility on the 5200 block of Curtis Ave. in Curtis Bay.

From Baltimore City Fire Department:

BCFD is on scene of a fatal 3-alarm facility fire on Curtis Ave. Four employee were working outside when a fire occurred & immediately spread inside the facility. Due to the amount of fire & flammable products inside, a 3rd alarm was struck out for additional resources.

From CBS Baltimore:

“Unfortunately one of the employees was completely engulfed in flames,” the fire department spokesperson said. ” … His co-workers tried to assist him and help get the fire out or off him, but they were unsuccessful.”
