Dallas-based MV Transportation, Inc. has leased a 30,000 sq. ft. drive-in, crane-served warehouse at 1600 Bush St. in the Carroll-Camden Industrial Area of South Baltimore. MV Transportation will utilize the property’s approximately two acres of outside storage, as well as lease 6,000 sq. ft. of office space at the adjacent office building at 1615 Bush St.

The warehouse was previously used by Ellicott Dredges, which is still a tenant of the adjacent building. Along with MV Transportation, FiberElectronics and Ellicott Dredges are occupants of the office building at 1615 Bush St.

Gold and Company assisted the landlord in the long-term lease. MV Transportation was represented by Mohr Partners.

MV Transportation provides paratransit, fixed-route, campus and corporate shuttles, and student transportation services. It partners with more than 200 city and county government transit agencies, school districts, universities, and corporations. The company employees more than 20,000 transit professionals.

MV Transportation was just selected by the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) for its MobilityLink which provides ADA-complementary paratransit services in the region.

“The site lays out nicely for fleet storage, maintenance, and general office space with easy access to Baltimore City’s main thoroughfares and surrounding areas,” said Jim Chivers, vice president of Gold and Company. “The Carroll-Camden Industrial Area continues to provide a functional location for industrial service companies.”
