Baltimore City Recreation & Parks has announced its pool schedule for this summer. Unlike the past two years with limited capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the pools will have expanded capacity and accommodate more walk-up participants.

Baltimore City Recreation & Parks press release:

Baltimore City Recreation & Parks (BCRP) is excited to announce the schedule for the summer 2022 pool season. Beginning Saturday, May 28, four park pool locations reopen including the Patterson, Roosevelt, Clifton and Riverside Park Pools. The remaining public neighborhood pools will open for full service on Thursday, June 16. The agency is also happy to celebrate the annual pool opening event, Big Splash, which will also mark the return of the newly renovated Druid Hill Park Pool on Saturday, June 11 at 11AM.

“I am more than excited to be one of the first to jump into the newly improved Druid Hill Park Pool as part of our Big Splash celebration,” said Mayor Brandon M. Scott. “The Druid Hill Park Pool is the most utilized park pool in the city, so seeing it fully renovated and accessible for swimmers of all levels is truly rewarding. I am proud of the BCRP team for the work they did to update and revitalize one of our city landmarks. See you there!
