Charm City Healing Acupuncture & Wellness relocated last month from 1439 E. Fort Ave. in Locust Point to 921 E. Fort Ave. Suite 109 at the Foundry on Fort Avenue in Locust Point. The new location provides Charm City Healing with 1,622 sq. ft. of space compared to its previous 900 sq. ft.

Charm City Healing’s new space was the former massage area at Studio 921, which relocated to McHenry Row. Compass now occupies the remainder of the former Studio 921 space.

Charm City Healing is owned by licensed acupuncturist and Locust Point resident Angela Becker, who started the business in 2013.

This is the third location for the company. Becker told she was running out of room at the last space and that the new space is an upgrade. She also said the parking at the Foundry on Fort Avenue will be a benefit to her clients.

Charm City Healing offers acupuncture, electro acupuncture, dry needling, integrative medicine, ATP resonance biotherapy, ozone therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, functional lab work and supplementation, and lifestyle and nutritional therapy.

Becker’s “career love” is women’s reproductive health. She said she uses acupuncture and herbs “to support women from menarche to menopause.” Charm City Healing has a strong focus on fertility (both IUI and IVF), prenatal support (including breech presentation), and postpartum care.

Charm City Healing also treats clients with chronic pain, sciatica, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, peripheral neuropathy, migraines, and jaw pain.

Charm City Healing is open Monday to Thursday by appointment only.
