UPDATE – Homicide – Sharp Leadenhall

On May 21, 2022, at approximately 1:39 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 900 block of Peach St for a report of gunfire. Once there, officers located a 22-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.

I spoke with Southern District Major Velte this morning — BPD is actively investigating this. More info to follow and I receive an update.
