Free Reggae Festival ‘Chant Down’ This Saturday at Carroll Park

Featuring Freddie McGregor, Chino McGregor, Iba Mahr, Autarchii, Jerry Harris, Prof-I (Nyahbinghi Chanting), and the Statement Band featuring Derrick Barnett and special guest Andy Bassford, Chant Down is a day of fun, music and community support in Baltimore. Food trucks and local businesses will be set up on site as well. Enjoy a great day in Carroll Park filled with fun and music!

Donations are required to attend: Needed items are NEW AND UNOPENED Toiletries, Underwear and Socks, Feminine Hygiene Products, Cold Weather Clothing, Reusable Containers, Unopened Baby Diapers, Baby Supplies, and Hand and Foot Warmers.

We will also accept on site digital donations if you do not bring an item. The suggested donation is $20 per person but you can give what you can whether that is more or less. All funds will be shared with our non-profit community partners Paul’s Place and the Baltimore Furniture Bank. Everyone managing Chant Down Baltimore is a volunteer and the event is a fundraiser for these important programs supporting marginalized people in Baltimore.
