Unofficial 2022 Election Results in Baltimore
Below are the unofficial elections results for races impacting South Baltimore. Currently, 284 of the 296 Baltimore City Election Day precincts have reported.
The Baltimore Sun’s Lee Sanderlin reports “at least 20,000 Baltimore City mail-in ballots will be counted on Thursday morning.”
Baltimore City State’s Attorney
Marilyn J. Mosby is the incumbent. Roya Hana is running in the General Election as an Independent. No Republicans ran.
Baltimore City Sheriff
Sam Cogen is the current president of South Baltimore Neighborhood Association. John W. Anderson is the 33-year incumbent. No Republicans or Independents are in the race.
District 46 (South and Southeast Baltimore) State Senator
Bill Ferguson is the incumbent and Senate President.
District 46 State Delegate
The top three candidates that represent each party in the General Election and the top three candidates that win the General Election represent the district. Luke Clippinger and Robyn Lewis are both incumbents.
Representative in US 7th Congress District
This district was redrawn and now encompasses all of South Baltimore and most of Baltimore City. In the previous map, South Baltimore was represented by MD-3 Representative John Sarbanes. Kweisi Mfume is the MD-7 incumbent.
U.S. Senator
Chris Van Hollen is the incumbent.
Maryland Governor
Two-term Governor Larry Hogan is term limited. The AP has called the Republican race for State Delegate Dan Cox.
Maryland Comptroller
Incumbent Peter Franchot is running for Governor. Brooke Lierman is a current District 46 delegate.
Maryland Attorney General
Incumbent Brian Frosh is retiring.
