The long wait for Topgolf in South Baltimore will soon come to an end. An official with Horseshoe Casino Baltimore ownership team CBAC, which is a partner in the project and mixed-use development on Warner St., told SouthBMore.com Topgolf will open in late-October or early-November.

From Baltimore Business Journal:

The golf hub will have 90 hitting bays, three restaurants with seating for more than 150 people and private event space, according to the liquor board hearing. It will be open Sundays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to midnight and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Golfing sessions will cost $45 to $50 an hour, depending on the time of day, and each hitting bay can accommodate up to six people.

Topgolf has been under construction since May 2021 at 301 Stockholm St. in Stadium Area. The 65,000 sq. ft. building on 6.5 acres is located on Ridgely’s Cove of the Patapsco River and is part of CBAC’s Warner Street District development. The building fronts Warner St. and the driving range moves east to west and ends at the Light Rail bridge.

The project replaces the former Animal Control and Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) site and former Ravens Lot J.

Topgolf features point-scoring golf games in outdoor hitting bays, “chef-driven” menu items, top-shelf drinks, music, and year-round programming for all ages. Additionally, Topgolf will offer private event rooms for corporate meetings, celebrations, and more.

Topgolf Baltimore will have more than 500 employees. Topgolf operates 69 venues around the world.

Part of the Topgolf agreement with the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) is a plan for improvements to the adjacent trail and park located behind the casino’s parking garage and along the Gwynns Falls Trail and Ridgely’s Cove. Topgolf’s contractors began work on this project in January 2021 and this project is also nearing completion.

Topgolf will be the first completed project in the Warner Street District. The 70,000 sq. ft., 3,400-seat music venue The Paramount Baltimore began construction at 1300 Warner St. in February.

A large warehouse and retail building at 1400 Warner St. was recently demolishedThe master plan for the Warner Street District shows a hotel being built on the southern section of the property. A retail building is also planned for the northern end of the property.

A 30,000 sq. ft. bar with a placeholder name of Yards Social Bar is marketed to replace an industrial building at 1301 Warner St.
