Shipwrecked Sailboat Next to Ferry Bar Park in Port Covington
There is a shipwrecked sailboat in the Patapsco River right off the shore of Ferry Bar Park in Port Covington. Baltimore City Fire Department (BCFD) was dispatched to a “vessel in distress” at the location on May 6th.
SouthBMore.com does not have any information at this time about how the boat got there and if anyone was in the boat at the time it ran aground.
A spokesperson for BCFD said that after speaking with several city agencies, it’s up to the owner to remove the boat.
