**SOWEBO Arts and Music Festival Celebrates 40th Anniversary with a Blast of Creativity**

Baltimore, MD – May 19, 2023 – Get ready for the ultimate celebration of art and music in Baltimore! The SOWEBO Arts and Music Festival is back on Sunday, May 28th from 12pm to 8pm in the historic Hollins Market neighborhood. This is the longest-running free outdoor festival in the city, and you don’t want to miss it!

You’ll be amazed by the incredible lineup of live music on four stages, featuring local legends and rising stars in rock, blues, folk, reggae, hip hop, punk, and more. You’ll also discover over 100 art, craft and non-profit vendors, offering unique and creative products and services. And don’t forget to bring your appetite, because there will be plenty of food trucks to satisfy your cravings.

The festival is also a family-friendly event, with fun and educational activities for kids of all ages. You can join the Puppet Parade with Black Cherry Puppet Theater, make your own hat with Tatter Hatter, listen to stories with Vee Vee Majesty, and groove to the drum line by Baltimore All Stars.

But that’s not all! You can also enjoy fashion shows and dance performances featuring local artists and groups from Southwest Baltimore.
