Baltimore Business Journal has reported that Baltimore boxer Gervonta “Tank” Davis purchased a penthouse condominium at Silo Point in Locust Point this past Friday for $3.4 million. Davis purchased the condominium from Baltimore developer Scott Plank.

From Baltimore Business Journal:

Charlie Hatter, CEO and co-owner of Monumental Sotheby’s International Realty, said he brokered both sides of the deal. The Realtor said he has known Davis, the current lightweight boxing champion, for years. Hatter said Davis had been on the hunt for an apartment when he showed him a video of Plank’s loft-style penthouse. That sealed the deal.

“Baltimore has nationally known celebrities and [I’m] glad to see them investing in Charm City,” Hatter said. “This is a beautiful city we live in!”

Davis, who is 28, grew up in West Baltimore and attended Digital Harbor High School in Federal Hill. He currently holds the WBA Lightweight title belt.

Recently, Davis was sentenced to 90 days home detention and 200 hours of community service by Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Althea Handy for his involvement in a 2020 hit-and-run crash.
