Harris Teeter at McHenry Row Reopens
The Harris Teeter at McHenry Row in Locust Point is now reopen after being closed for just over a week. The store was dealing with a pest issue.
The company provided the following statement to WBAL on Thursday, August 17th:
“Harris Teeter takes the health and safety of our valued customers and associates very seriously and has voluntarily chosen to temporarily close the McHenry Row location while we work to correct a pest issue. Out of an abundance of caution and to maintain the high standards Harris Teeter is known for, we have contacted both our professional pest control company and the Baltimore City Health Department to partner with us on sanitation and control measures. Additionally, we have implemented strict sanitation protocols, initiated a thorough cleaning and will maintain ongoing inspections. With this expansive mitigation programming, we anticipate reopening the store soon,” Danna Robinson said.
Harris Teeter sent the following email to its VIC Card members at the McHenry Row location this morning:
Dear Valued McHenry Row Harris Teeter Customer:
Your McHenry Row Harris Teeter will re-open at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023.
We apologize for the inconvenience of our recent closure. We have targeted your VIC card with an offer for $20 off your next purchase of $50 or more, valid Aug. 24, 2023 – Aug. 29, 2023.
We look forward to seeing you soon at your McHenry Row Harris Teeter.

The Harris Teeter pharmacy remained open for curbside pickup and the attached The Cellars beer and wine store never closed.
