Friends, family and loyal followers of Knockout Fitness,
It’s extremely hard to write this. It’s been an amazing 11 years in Federal Hill. We have met so many incredible people. Unfortunately, it’s time to say goodbye. This is very bittersweet to post. Our Fed Hill gym has a very special place in our hearts. Our 10 year Lease is up and we had to make the best decision for our families. – we feel it is time to move on to pursue other careers and passions. For Jason, it’s not a farewell. It’s a cya later. Jason will be launching his own fitness concept in Fells Point called Bodies by Knockout. So if you LOVED his classes, follow him for updates @jasonnissley.
Our last day of business will be Saturday, October 28th. We hope you continue to enjoy classes for the next month! Please come to classes on Saturday 10/28and join us for a farewell party at a local bar (details tbd). Members – no membership fees will be charged going forward. Classpack holders, you have a month to use up your classes. For the paid in full memberships in need of a credit/refund, please contact us directly by email.
We appreciate each and every person that supported us over the years. It’s sad to end the Knockout Fitness era, but we had to do what’s best for our families. We hope you can understand this decision was extremely hard to make – we will miss you all deeply.
Love,
Chris @chrisnissley + Jason @jasonnissley

From Chris Nissley on Instagram:
This post was extremely hard to write. The 11 years I’ve experienced with my Knockout Fitness FAMILY, have been some of the best moments of my entire life. The experiences, the challenges, the amazing memories, but most of all the long lasting friendships have been not only my life’s work and commitment, but will forever hold a spot in my heart that I cherish.
That said, it has come time for me to move on to other opportunities. There’s a few things coming up, and as they develop and come to fruition I can’t wait to share them with you all. I know this seems sudden but my last day affiliated with Knockout Fitness in Fed Hill was Saturday. I’ll still be around and look forward to speaking with you directly or answering questions.
The good news is I leave you all in good hands. In all my years in the business I’m yet to meet a trainer as talented as my brother Jason Nissley. I know his passion will continue to ignite all our members and keep the spirit of Knockout going strong. Like I said you’ll still see me around the gym, just not in an ownership/managerial, head trainer type roll.
Please know how difficult it is for me to move on and that I LOVE each and every one of our trainers and clients past or present !!!
