A new public park has opened at the Baltimore Peninsula development in Port Covington. The park, which has been temporarily called Triangle Park, is located in between Rye St., Distillery St., and Mission Blvd.
The park has a playground with slides, playground equipment, landscaping, canopies, and a jungle gym shaped like a blue crab. The park also has a plaza with benches and canopies, as well as a green space.
Triangle Park is the latest addition to the Baltimore Peninsula development which has delivered five new buildings last year on new city blocks. Last year, an expanded Rye Park opened at the development as well as temporary green spaces placed on future development pad sites.
Outdoor sports facility Volo Beach opened in 2023 at Baltimore Peninsula with volleyball courts. It will soon be adding spaces for soccer, football, kickball, bocce, cornhole, and food and beverage.
