Popular Baltimore area-based bagel shop THB Bagelry & Deli will open at McHenry Row in Locust Point on February 15th. THB is occupying 2,000 sq. ft. of the 7,000 sq. ft. retail suite that was previously Iron Rooster. THB will take over the northern corner of the space that bookends the apartment building and shopping center.

THB, which was originally called Towson Hot Bagels after starting in Towson, now has locations in Towson, Canton, Charles Village, Columbia, Owings Mills, and Timonium.

THB is owned by the Scotto cousins Tony, Ciro, Orinana, and Gennaro from Southern Italy. They bought the original location in Towson in 2008.

Asked about the decision to open a location in South Baltimore, CEO Tony Scotto told SouthBMore.com, “We have been in love with the area for the last 11 years and we have so many loyal customers asking for a location and we are extremely happy to be able to do so.”

He added, “My family and I are exited to open our seventh location and our third in the city and keep growing our THB Family!”

The menu at THB features fresh bagels, breakfast and deli bagel sandwiches, coffee, cream cheeses, omelets, paninis, soups, salads, and sides.

THB bagels are also featured in cafes around Baltimore such as Urban Deli and Order & Chaos Coffee.

The THB space has been under construction for more than a year.

Iron Rooster downsized its space in January of last year and closed in September. Construction is underway for a new restaurant to open in its space.
