Limoncello Pizzeria to Open on February 20th in Locust Point

Limoncello Pizzeria, a spin-off of the adjacent Limoncello restaurant, will open next week on February 20th at the Anthem House building in Locust Point. Limoncello Pizzeria will be the first retail tenant 900 E. Fort Ave. Suite A1.

Limoncello Pizzeria is one by Naples natives Gianluca Parascandolo, Gennaro Di Benedetto, Francesco Schiano Di Cola, and Pino Di Benedetto. The group also owns Limoncello, Nonna Angela’s and Frank & Luke’s in Crofton, Bacco Italian + Wine Bar in Abingdon, Good Guys Pizzeria in Pikesville, and the recently opened Tony’s of NY in Timonium.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Limoncello went to a carry-out menu with a focus on Tuscan-style pizzas and, because of its popularity, the ownership group began exploring the idea of opening a pizzeria in the neighborhood.

The pizzeria will offer artisan New York-style pizzas, Tuscan-style thin and square pan pizzas, and round thick crust focaccia pizzas. Each will be available by the slice and whole pie.

The menu will also features sandwiches made on fresh bread and salads.

The restaurant was built out by Urban Built and designed by Stephanie Di Benedetto. It has floor the ceiling windows and was designed with blue tiling, yellow accents, and Italian designs inspired by Naples. It has booths for dining in and an open kitchen so guests can view the pizza making process.

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to expand our offerings in Baltimore and can’t wait for people to try these new, delicious recipes,” said Gianluca Parascandolo in a press release.

Limoncello Pizzeria will be open Sunday to Thursday from 11am to 9pm and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 10pm.
