CFG Bank Opens Its Baltimore Peninsula Headquarters

CFG Bank moved into its new 97,000 sq. ft. Baltimore Peninsula headquarters this week. It was previously headquartered at 1422 Clarkview Rd. in Baltimore County.

CFG Bank takes over a three-story office space in the new 2455 House Street office building. The space will also serve as the headquarters for CFG Bank’s other companies Capital Funding Group and the Jack and Nancy Dwyer Workforce Development Center.

The company posted the following announcement yesterday:

We’re excited to share that we’ve moved into our new headquarters at Baltimore Peninsula.

Our new HQ location accommodates our current and future expansion, provides an environment to foster our team’s entrepreneurial spirit, and supports the reinvigoration of Baltimore.

Our HQ address is 2455 House Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. Please note our new address for all correspondence. Phone numbers have not changed. Our Lutherville, Annapolis, and Fells Point branches remain open as normal. If you have any questions, please reach out to your CFG team at info@CFG.bank.

CFG Bank worked with NewGround to design its headquarters. It features various indoor and outdoor collaboration areas with an employee lounge totaling 5,000 sq. ft.; a rooftop community space; a library area; kitchens; an indoor sports simulator; and more.

2455 House Street is an eight-story, 221,500 sq. ft. building with 212,000 sq. ft. office and 9,500 sq. ft. of retail. It is part of Chapter 1B of the Baltimore Peninsula development that constructed five buildings totaling more than 1.1 million sq. ft. of new office, retail, and mixed-income residential space.

CFG Bank will also be opening a retail branch in the building.

CFG Bank is the second office tenant to open at Baltimore Peninsula, joining interior design firm Chambers which opened a 9,000 sq. ft. office in the Rye Street Market building.

Other office tenants that have announced they are joining the Baltimore Peninsula development are the Baltimore Ravens, Disaronno, Sagamore Ventures, Volo Sports, and MAG Partners.

A number of new retail and restaurant tenants are also expected to open in the development later this year.

There is also a flurry of construction around Baltimore Peninsula as Under Armour is under construction on its new 280,000 sq. ft. office, retail, and fitness building, and construction of the 809-housing unit Locke Landing development is in process.
