AC Milan and FC Barcelona to Square Off at M&T Bank Stadium on August 6th

For the first time in two years, international soccer will be returning to M&T Bank Stadium. Two of the most-storied clubs in the world, AC Milan and FC Barcelona, will play at the home of the Ravens on August 6th.

FC Barcelona, which plays in Spain’s La Liga, is the second most popular team in the world, according to social media followers, just behind rival Real Madrid. FC Barcelona is currently in second place in La Liga.

AC Milan is the current club of American star and Hershey, PA native Christian Pulisic. Pulisic is the current U.S. Soccer’s Male Player of the Year and is having a breakout season in Italy with 12 goals and eight assists across all competitions. AC Milan is currently in second place in Italy’s Serie A.

The match is part of the 2024 Soccer Champions Tour in the United States.

The Ravens and Maryland Stadium Authority are currently undertaking a three-year renovation of M&T Bank Stadium that will add new field-level suites and clubs, suites at the top of the lower level, new retail buildings on the exterior of the stadium, new tailgating areas, new indoor bars and rooftop deck bars, expanded and upgraded concourses, additional bathrooms, and a future plaza.

As part of the second summer series of U.S. matches, the 2024 Soccer Champions Tour announced Tuesday that FC Barcelona and AC Milan will square off at M&T Bank Stadium on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. In addition to Baltimore, venues throughout the U.S., including New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Orlando and Charlotte, will host six matches between five of the world’s most iconic soccer clubs – Spain’s Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona, Italy’s AC Milan and England’s Manchester City and Chelsea.

This marks the second time both Spanish soccer clubs and AC Milan have participated in the unique U.S. series, while Manchester City and Chelsea will make their Soccer Champions Tour debuts.

Saturday, August 3: Real Madrid CF vs. FC Barcelona at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

Tuesday, August 6: FC Barcelona vs. AC Milan at M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD

Tuesday, August 6: Real Madrid CF vs. Chelsea at Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC
