Karaoke Concept ‘Live-K’ Coming to Baltimore Peninsula

| May 9, 2024 | 0 Comments

Today, the Baltimore Peninsula development team announced “futuristic karaoke experience” LIVE-K is coming to a 7,800 sq. ft. retail space at the Rye Street Market building. This is the second location for Live-K, which opened its first location at The Wharf in Washington, D.C. in 2022.

LIVE-K is “designed with a sensational futuristic lighting style, using the pioneering concept of “Grand Scene, Grand Rendition,” featuring a 22-square meter LED mega-screen atmospheric lobby, four first-class theme rooms, and 11 modern entertainment rooms.”

LIVE-K also offers a Japanese barbecue food menu featuring skewers, as well as noodle and rice dishes. It has a full bar featuring beer, wine, and liquor bottle service.

Shang Wang of Wang Enterprises represented LIVE-K on the lease negotiations.

“After the success of our DC location, we can’t wait to bring LIVE-K to the heart of Baltimore Peninsula,” said Chris Zhujan of LIVE-K in a press release. “Our one-of-a-kind entertainment experience makes for the perfect date night, birthday party, corporate event and more.”

“Our retail strategy at Baltimore Peninsula is driven by the goal of creating a vibrant, dynamic neighborhood. Already, the community’s retail provides critical amenities, exciting activities and enticing food and beverage destinations,” said MaryAnne Gilmartin, founder and CEO of MAG Partners, a partner in the Baltimore Peninsula development, in a press release.

LIVE-K is the latest restaurant announcement for the Baltimore Peninsula development, which finished construction on five new buildings last year. Rye Street Tavern and ROOST Cafe & General Store are expected to open in the coming weeks. Additional restaurants planned are Ben & Jerrys, Jersey Mike’s Subs, BK Lobster, Slutty Vegan, Bar Vegan, Urbano, and a multi-vendor space called The Exchange.
