M&T Bank, Inspire Nail Bar, and Dog Care Business Coming to Baltimore Peninsula

| June 11, 2024 | 0 Comments

Last week, the Baltimore Peninsula development team announced a batch of new retail tenants coming to its new buildings. These businesses include M&T Bank, Inspire Nail Bar, and a yet-to-be-named dog care business. The tenants will fill 9,700 sq. ft. of retail spaces in three different buildings.

M&T Bank will open at the Rye Street Market office and retail building. Rye Street Market does not yet have any retail tenants open, but seven restaurants have been announced for the building.

“We look forward to being part of what will undoubtedly be a vibrant addition to the Baltimore Peninsula community and expanding M&T Bank’s footprint in the region,” said Augie Chiasera, M&T Bank’s regional president for Greater Baltimore, in a press release.

Inspire Nails will open at the Rye House apartment building. Inspire has 20 locations throughout Maryland and Virginia and is also opening at Southside Marketplace in Riverside/Locust Point. A Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shop will also open at Rye House.

“I’ve been watching the development at Baltimore Peninsula for years and always knew I wanted to be a part of this transformational project,” said Inspire Nail Spa Owner Aaron Tran in a press release. “This is a wonderful opportunity to offer our premier nail services to a new community.”

The new dog care business is owned by Baltimore resident Eric Brown. It will open in the 2455 House Street office building. The business will offer services including dog walking, grooming, and day and overnight care.

Brown grew up on a farm in Kansas and has since spent his whole life surrounded by animals. He volunteers at the Maryland SPCA as a dog deputy, works at a local dog daycare, runs an all-natural dog treat company with his father, and is excited to open up a dog care facility at Baltimore Peninsula later this year.

“As a resident of Baltimore, I’m so excited to be partnering with the Baltimore Peninsula team– who have shown a deep appreciation of this city– to bring dog care to the neighborhood,” said Brown. “We can’t wait to meet the pet parents and furry residents of the Baltimore Peninsula community!”

The Baltimore Peninsula team also announced Fells’ Point coffee shop Daily Grind will open at the 2455 House Street Building. 2455 House Street is the home to CFG Bank’s  headquarters and a retail branch will open on the first floor in the coming months.

The Baltimore Peninsula development team opened five new buildings in 2023.
