A 600 sq. ft. coffee shop called Little Wing opened last week in the ROOST Baltimore building at Baltimore Peninsula. Little Wing is the first retail business to open in the five new buildings completed as part of Chapter 1B of the Baltimore Peninsula development.

Little Wing is owned by Method Co., the parent company of ROOST Baltimore. ROOST Baltimore has 81 “apartment hotel” units, 40 long-term apartment units, and 6,000 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail. No additional retail tenants have been announced for the building at this time.

Little Wing offers La Colombe coffee, as well as locally-sourced baked goods, dry goods, fresh produce, grooming products, high-end toiletries, and home goods.

Little Wing is open daily from 630am to 4pm.

While Little Wing is the first new restaurant to open at Baltimore Peninsula, many more are coming. This includes Rye Street Tavern which is slated to open next on July 15th. Additional restaurants planned are Ben & Jerrys, Jersey Mike’s Subs, BK Lobster, Slutty Vegan, Bar Vegan, Urbano, Live-K, and a multi-vendor space called The Exchange.

Additional retail businesses announced for the new buildings are M&T Bank, CFG Bank, Inspire Nail Bar, The Learning Care Group, and a yet-to-be-named dog care business.
