5 X MLB All-Star and Orioles’ first baseman, Pete Alonso, his wife Haley and the The Alonso Foundation are proud to announce Movie Night at the Park, a special charitable evening hosted by Pete and Haley Alonso on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Guests will enjoy a VIP reception, a special program, and an exclusive screening of The Secret Life of Pets, creating a family-friendly experience designed to celebrate community while supporting meaningful causes.
Founded by Pete and Haley Alonso, The Alonso Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families through initiatives that promote education, health, wellness, and opportunities for underserved communities. The foundation focuses its impact across three core giving pillars of animal welfare, veterans support and youth and community development.

The featured film, The Secret Life of Pets, was selected as it perfectly captures the heart of The Alonso Foundation’s mission: recognizing that every animal has a unique personality, a story to tell, and a deep desire for companionship. Just as the characters in the movie look out for one another, the Alonso Foundation looks out for the animals often overlooked in the shelter system.
All proceeds from this event will support our nationwide work with animal shelters to fund emergency medical care, facilitate rescues from high-kill environments, and provide the supplies needed to turn shelters into temporary homes.
