Fast-casual restaurant and prepared meal service Yes Chef! has closed at McHenry Row in Locust Point. The storefront restaurant had been open since 2021, while the company’s prepared meal delivery service launched in 2019.
Yes Chef! was owned by husband and wife Chef Clint Roze and Jodi Roze.
Jodi Roze told SouthBMore.com the family experienced significant heartbreak this year following the loss of their three-year-old grandson to cancer, as well as the sudden death of their operations manager in June.
“We just decided to close up, too much of a struggle to have the responsibility of business ownership,” Roze said.
She credited McHenry Row owner 28 Walker for the support and assistance they provided to the business, but said the family ultimately “had to move on.”
Yes Chef! operated in a 2,904 sq. ft. space that was previously home to two other food businesses.
