Wonder, a national food hall concept with shared ownership involving delivery platforms Grubhub and DoorDash, is coming to the former PNC Bank space at McHenry Row in Locust Point.

Wonder already has a location at Canton Crossing, which, like McHenry Row, is owned by 28 Walker. Wonder is also opening a location in Linthicum.

Wonder offers a large selection of restaurant concepts under one roof, including Yasa by Michael Symon, Bellies, Alana Pizza, Dabba Kitchen, El Diez Mexican Bowls, Sripraphai Thai, Burger Baby, Pop Salad, The Mainstay by Marc Murphy, Happy Tuna, Tejas Barbecue, Alanza Italian, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, Royal Greens, Walnut Lane by Jonathan Waxman, Fred’s Meat & Bread, Detroit Brick Pizza Co., Room for Dessert, Wing Trip, Ess-A-Bagel, Di Fara Pizza, Hanu Poke, Limesalt Mexican, Mr. D’s Fried Chicken, Maydan Middle Eastern, Bobby Flay Steak, Kin House Chinese-American, Chios Tavern by Michael Symon, Pizza Mato, and Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken.

Mark Sapperstein of 28 Walker said the McHenry Row location will have limited seating, with approximately 90 percent of Wonder’s business coming from carryout.

McHenry Row currently has several vacancies, including the spaces formerly occupied by Howl, Yes Chef!, Jimmy John’s, and NovaCare. Sapperstein said the property is seeing significant interest from potential tenants but that 28 Walker is being selective about new additions.

“There’s already lots of food,” Sapperstein said.
