Man Shot and Killed Sunday Night in Federal Hill Park
On September 13, 2020, at 11:03 p.m., officers were called to the 300 block of Warren Avenue for a report of gunshots being heard in the area. When officers arrived, they found a 39-year old man with gunshot wounds to his body. The victim was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

Maryland Enters Phase Three of COVID-19 Recovery Allowing Theatres and Performance Venues to Open
Yesterday, Governor Larry Hogan announced the State of Maryland will enter the first phase of Stage Three of ‘Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery.’ It is up to local jurisdictions to implement the new guidelines. Baltimore City will not be loosening any restrictions at this time, but anticipates moving to Phase Two next week.

Baltimore Recycling Pickup Suspended Starting Monday
Effective Monday August 31, all DPW recycling collections’ crews will be diverted to trash collections on a full-time basis. Unfortunately, this means recycling operations must be modified. While this plan is in effect, recycling will no longer be collected from residences.
