Riverside Pool and Other Baltimore City Pools Open this Weekend
Park Pools (Druid Hill, Cherry Hill Splash, Lake Clifton, Patterson, Riverside and Roosevelt Park) will open and operate on a Saturday-Sunday/weekend schedule. Pools will also open for Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 27-29 from 11AM-3PM and 4PM-8PM.

Community Cookout to Support Steuart Hill Academic Academy on Thursday at Union Square Park
The SAVESHAA Coalition announced that they will host a Community Cookout on Thursday, March 16th from 2:30-5:30pm to promote joy and celebrate Steuart Hill Academic Academy (slated to close June 2023) during a hard time for the school and its families and students. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Day parade will not be held this year. The Baltimore City event, produced by The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA), has not been held since January 2020 because of COVID-19 restrictions in 2021 and 2022. Now, in 2023, it is a conscious decision to celebrate Dr. King’s legacy through a day of service rather than a parade.
